KOSMOSAS
„KOSMOSAS“ – lithuanian winter season beer. This is, a close to our region, Baltic porter, which we decided to spice up by ageing it with French oak and bourbon barrel chips. Our interpretation of this style – black and opaque beer with caramel colored beer head. Rich chocolate flavor with vanilla oak aroma notes. The flavor is dominated with dried plums, raisins and little liqourice with dark bitter chocolate aftertaste. Though 7,2 ABV to this style is not much, we tried so that this beer with its intense flavor would not be less intense and rich than its family.
Goes well with american BBQ, roasted game steaks, chili stew, long aged cheeses and chocolate desserts.

We used Pilsen and wheat malts also some flaked rice to achieve not complexed maltiness and some haziness.
Dry hopped two times in different temperatures and stages with Huell melon, Nelson Sauvin and Amarillo, total 10g/l.
From hops you can feel some tropical fruit, grapes` and melon flavor notes.

ROPA Moonshine 2019 edition;
Same as last year, we will not create unneeded fairytales about quality materials, pure water and fifty kinds of hops. Nor about amazing hard work that our brewers did and super advanced technologies that we have. This is a beer, that was made for ourselves, but was just too good not to share with others. But if You like hearing stories, of course we could tell You how Lithuanians from Samogitia region went to Latvia ony to make homemade type of vodka drink. How they filtered it through coal and filled oak barrels leaving it for three years to ferment while angry guard dogs looked after it. How this empty barrel was brought by angels to Kaunas, filled with the ROPA goodness and left to ferment for a long time. That‘s why the acid for this beer is a spontaneous biological process, for which nothing from outside was used.

ROPA
This one is special for us. When first brewed back in 2015, we could not fit it in any style of beer. So we created a new one - ROPA, or Red Oceania Pale Ale. Multiple carefully balanced malts with hops from USA and the unique Rakau hops from New Zealand gives You a magical experience. Rakau is a kind of hops uniquely from New Zealand, which history started back in 19th century, when the new setllers from England and Germany came with their hops. The country climate for them was perfect and they mostly liked Nelson area, which later started naming some of their later generation grown hops by the names of Maori tribes and their cultural heritage.

That‘s an old style North England porter. Together with „Tikras Alus“ lab we present the fourth collaboration from seasonal ales. This beer is inspired by old English style porter, which has the same subtile and balanced flavors, letting You to enjoy every bit. North of England‘s counties breweries are exceptional in this genre – from old times porters and stouts are made with specific and old fermentation techniques, which gives it deeper flavors than any other region has. In brewery „Apynys“ we interpreted all that we know of North of England to recreate these characteristics. Juodras is full of different dark roasted barley , chocolaty and dark breaded flavors together with a hint of plums and blackberries. Yellow camper Micro IPA
Was created specially for hot summers, when a great fruity refreshment is a need. For the days when You want to jump in to Your yellow camper and go visit the nature with a light beer in the back waiting for You afterwards.
This IPA is white creamy colour with fruity aroma and taste. A perfect mix of four different kinds of hops when dry hopped makes this beer as an exploding fruit bomb. Even though this is a micro IPA, the hoppy amount used is as much as for a regular IPA, so this gives the beer not only a light body, but also a mixture of melon and honey aroma.
